<body> <p>The Lanark Society was founded in 1975 by a group of Lanarkians, led by Mrs Cranstoun, who were interested in all things Italian. The Lanark Branch meets on the first Monday of the month between October and April. Meetings are very varied as we hope to cater for a variety of interests. At each meeting a talk is given, in English, by someone with a particular interest in Italian life, history or culture and members are drawn from those who like "things Italian", including those who have spent holidays there.</p> </body>
